It’s time to talk with you about something that truly cannot wait. As you know I’m a research-aholic who questions everything and believes nothing at face value. The current data and documentation on COVID-19 indicates that it is not a question of if, but when our communities will become infested by this virus. Based on all the facts and patterns, it looks like we have a couple of weeks to get ahead of this thing. This is no joke and it’s time to act right now. To compare this to the flu or a common cold as many are doing shows a dangerous level of ignorance to the facts. Today the World Health Organization issued a statement categorizing the virus as a worldwide pandemic and stated that one of their greatest concerns is with the countries who are not being proactive given the data.

Strengthening Your Immune System:
70% of the immune system is located in the gut.
Remove: Sugars, refined grains (white and wheat products) and hydrogenated oils. All these weaken your immune system. Use honey as a sweetener and coconut oil to replace other cooking oils.
Foods: light yellow and white colored fruits and vegetables strengthen the immune system. Citrus, cauliflower, garlic, chicken broth, miso, kiwi, goji berry as well. The four vegetables with the highest amounts of vitamin c are broccoli, brussel sprouts, bell pepper and bok choy.

Be a responsible member of your community. Stop the spread. Carry latex (or the like) gloves in your purse for atm/credit card reading devices that you have to enter your passcode. Carry your own pen for signatures. Stop shaking hands. Have your shopping delivered. Don’t attend large gatherings. Practice Social Distancing. Share what you know: spread this information far and wide. Write to your state officials, school superintendent, boss. Implore them to take action now.

A note about Eve Rising: I am committing to be a responsible member of my community and live by the advice I have given to you here. To that end, all group workshops and events at Eve Rising Wellness through the end of March are cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
